Renzo
Effio began his professional career early on life. While still in high school,
he began a three-month internship with Miami-based Univision Network. There, he
was put under the tutelage of the network’s number 1-rated show, Primer Impacto. He went on to work for
the show for the next three years. Renzo was also one of three Associate
Producers to help launch the weekend edition of that same show, when it began
airing in 2002. Deciding to leave the network to pursue his educational endeavors,
he left the network in 2003 and continued to stay in the world of entertainment
as a freelance producer for production houses across Miami.
Upon
graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Business
Administration by majoring in Marketing, he was offered the chance of a
lifetime. In 2006, he became owner of Sweet Art of Doral (dba Sweet Art by
Lucila). With his franchised specialty cake bakery, Renzo was able to apply
everything he had learned in the past four years while studying. Alas, the
world of entertainment always had a hold over Renzo’s heart, and upon entering
into Full Sail University’s Entertainment Business Masters program, he knew if
he wanted to continue pursuing the life on entrepreneurship it would have to be
within the entertainment field. So with that in mind, he successfully sold his
franchise in April of 2012 and is currently acting as a management consultant
for the new owners until the year’s end.
Renzo
Effio is in love with the arts. Whether it’s music, film, painting, or writing,
he can find common ground in any field and neither would seem like a foreign
topic to him. For more information on Renzo, feel free to head over to his

professional video game industry blog, Pencils and Vectors. Both of those link
